Redgum Hill Country Retreat, Nannup

Gumnut overlooks the river and has views across the valley. The queen size bedded attic style bedroom upstairs has a settee for reading and table and chairs on the sheltered ‘Juliet’ balcony overlooking the river. The bedroom is quietly cooled in summer with split wall mounted air-conditioning with warmth provided in winter by the screened flue of the wood fire.

Gumnut is a favourite spot for relaxation where you can read a book, or sip your wine and watch the wonderful variety of bird life from the balcony.

Downstairs there is a kitchenette, dining area, lounge with large settee and a separate bathroom. The kitchenette is well equipped with a microwave, a cook top/electric oven, utensils and all the crockery and cutlery needed for a long stay. The wood fire adds a wonderful warmth and ambience to the cottage. Cut wood is provided to the cottage. A colour TV and CD Player DVD (hire) provide entertainment so bring your favourite CD's - ours are 60's!

The lounge area opens via double French doors onto the sheltered decked garden where the gas fired BBQ is located. A hot tub spa is located on the other side of the verandah for gentle relaxation overlooking the adjoining forest.

Redgum Hill is built on a natural kangaroo trail. In the evening you can sit with a glass of your favourite wine and watch the kangaroos pass by on their way to the river and during the day you can watch the blue wrens and scarlet robins fossicking for food.
